KIMBERLY O'CONNOR, ASSISTANT WARDEN

Assistant Warden Kimberly O’Connor was born in Chicago Illinois and moved to Northwest Indiana in 2004. Assistant Warden O’Connor began her career at The Lake County Sheriff Department Corrections Division in 2005.

During her employment at Lake County Jail she served in the capacity of a Correctional Officer for the first nine years. During those nine years she served as a Turn Officer, a member of the Special Operations Response Team (S.O.R.T.) and as a Booking Officer. O’Connor was promoted to Sergeant in 2014 and held the position of Turn Sergeant for two years. O’Connor was given the responsibility of the Booking and Classification Department Sergeant in 2016. O’Connor was subsequently awarded to position of Assistant Warden, reporting directly to the Warden of LCJ.

Assistant Warden O’Connor is a certified instructor for the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
